Supporting someone after a sexual assault can bring up a range of emotions and questions. Support is available for friends, partners, and loved ones as well.

Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault (UCASA) Provides statewide education, training, and resource connections for survivors and those supporting them. UCASA can help connect you with local advocacy and support services across Utah. https://www.ucasa.org/

Utah Office of Victims of Crime (UOVC) Victims who suffer physical or psychological injury or death as a direct result of criminally injurious conduct may be eligible to receive reparations for crime related expenses. This includes family members and dependents of deceased victims or representatives acting
on behalf of victims.

Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) Offers 24/7 confidential support by phone and online chat. Counselors can provide guidance for secondary survivors, including how to respond and care for yourself in the process.

National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) A trusted nonprofit that provides education, resources, and tools to prevent sexual violence and improve support for survivors. Their research-based guidance helps individuals and communities create safer, healthier environments.
