The Refuge Utah offers 24/7 crisis support, emergency shelter, housing assistance, counseling, and safety planning for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. They are local and serve our community.
- Sexual Assault Hotline: 24/7 confidential line for crisis support and resources
- Rape Crisis Team: On‑call crisis intervention and counseling for sexual assault victims and their support networks
- Emergency Shelter: Gated, undisclosed location for victims of domestic violence and their children, with a target stay of 30 days
- Basic Needs: Food, clothing, hygiene items, and personal care supplies
- Safe House Program: Short‑term safe housing (30–45 days) with case management, therapy, children’s programs, and daily activities
- Safety Planning: Advocates help identify safe people/places and create personalized safety plans
- Lethality Assessment: Confidential screening to identify high‑risk situations and guide safety planning

Provides confidential emotional support, advocacy and counseling for BYU students who have experienced sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, or harassment. Counselors work with students to emotionally work through their feelings and challenges due to the sexual assault. In emergencies, a counselor is available to meet with students within 24 hours, Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We take walk in or appointments.
