Who We Serve

Support for Survivors at Every Stage

Our Sexual Assault Survivors Department is here to support BYU affiliated individuals whose lives have been affected by sexual assault, abuse, harassment, or other forms of sexual violence. You may be seeking help immediately after an incident, processing something that happened years ago, or supporting someone you care about. Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve to be heard, respected, and supported. We are a short term resource to help you get through this time.

We Serve:

  • Survivors of sexual assault — Whether the assault happened recently or in the past, support is available.
  • Survivors of sexual harassment or unwanted sexual contact — You deserve support when someone's actions have violated your boundaries or sense of safety.
  • Survivors of intimate partner or dating violence — Sexual violence can occur within relationships, including marriages and dating relationships.
  • Survivors of all genders and identities — Our services are available to anyone affected by sexual violence.
  • Family members and loved ones — Supporting a survivor can be difficult. We can provide information and guidance to help you respond with care and understanding.
  • Individuals seeking information — You do not have to be certain about what happened or know exactly what you need before reaching out.
